Lucy's Pick

Being the second installment of the  Wounds in the Sky  series by  V. R. Cardoso , I was excited to see how the story continued from where it left off. This book does an excellent job picking up where the last one left off and seems to build up to its own plot nicely while expanding its universe as well. While the first book had its own share of deaths and high-risk situations, this book seems to take everything to the next level. Unfortunately, it appears that it'll be some time before we get to read the third book, so, for now, I'll have to make do with these two!

To add some variety to my readings, I came across this book. It caught my attention at 'Dragon,' so I decided to give it a shot. Being more of a young adult novel, it's different from the other books I've read. Still, I don't look at complexity in books, but rather the story and this one seemed promising.  The Dragon Hunter and the Mage  is the first book of the  Wounds in the Sky  series by  V. R. Cardoso , who, I believe, is a relatively new author.
